What did you do to repair it?
Showed the user how to check which processes were running and to see if any were likely to be causing the computer to slow down. Found partially completed updates still running occupying the disk drive. Allowed these to complete and computer speeded up. Explained to user how it was necessary to allow updates to complete before switching off and how to check whether they had finished or not.
