Has the product been repaired?
Half and/or advice given
What did you do, what advice did you give?
Attempted to repair Windows using internal troubleshooting tools and a repair installation on USB but these failed. I offered to install Ubuntu and warned client that this would erase the information on the hard drive but make it usable and they agreed. Ubuntu was installed and customized for the client. I was not able to repair the broken lower left track pad button, but showed client a couple of workarounds.
