What did you do, what advice did you give?
Good news battery looks to be fine - hold down power button see battery light flashing orange. Bad news plug in owner supplied power supply and no battery light, so no charging. Good news - it looks like the owner since a power trip has been using a BT route power supply, presumably he accidentally swapped over the connectors.
Advised owner to go home and search for an Acer labelled power supply or a Chinese adaptor which supplies 19v at at least 2.4A as the back of the computer states.
