Turntable working fine. Stylus lift is jammed and limits switch not functioning. New cartridge required

Stylus lift does not work and turntable operation appears intermittent

What did you do to repair it?
New Cartridge from Ebay £5, switch was stiff. Ease up with multiple use. Arm lift also stiff, lubricate with PTFE lube. Now ok
