What did you do to repair it?
Really difficult to dismantle, based removed and internals checked. No damage visible, still damp inside, dried in front of fan for 40 minutes. Then reassembled, booted to Ubuntu, able to log on using keyboard, but touch pad not working.
All worked fine using an external mouse.
Advised owner to buy a mouse.
