Shaft of mixer blade was seized in bottom bearing

Not blending. Blade has jammed. (Common fault)

What did you do to repair it?
Dismantled unit. Pulled rotor out of [stator] and shaft fixed in vice. WD40 put on bottom bearing and shaft freed using force from a mole grip. Shaft [ciganed]. U it reassembled after re-lubricating bottom.

Significant black/brown corrosion products arise from bottom bearing. This will happen again! Design fault.
