Owner said unit was tripping home RCD or just not heating up. Pass electrical safety test, could not replicate behaviour and was able to get heating. Likely element insulation is failing and so leaking to earth. Advised customer to replace to avoid danger of electricution, as unable to find any fault to rectify. Treat tripping as warning that iron is faiing.
