What did you do, what advice did you give?
Unfortunately the printed silver heating element in this unit has failed. There was a hot spot where the silver was thinning when first repaired, and this seems to have got worse and failed. Repair is impractical but not impossible - the silver needs to be cleaned off in the affected area and rebuilt using high temperature silver paint. Matching resistance will be impossible and it may be that this will put stress on other failing areas, so further failure on next use could be ruled out. Replacing whole element would be ideal, but non trivial to use correct silver at correct thickness and width.
