major issues with gears, not changing

What did you do to repair it?
between corrosion on the chain, freewheel, cable, lever - caused issues for it to change, it was locked. cleaned up chain, and cassette, derusted and lubricated it. put it back togeher, adjusted gears to put together as best we can. needs a new chain and cassette now. brakes - didnt have any back brakes. same to do with corrosion and contamination on the calibre and palettes and cable. caused issues. lubed it and tightened brake pads. advised to change pallettes. showed how to adjust gears etc.
