Half and/or advice given
What did you do, what advice did you give?
Removed gearbox as it probably impacted the calculator wire's disconnection at the point of impact, and it is not able to function without a new gear and new support structures. Owner is aware and gearbox is included with the toy in a separate bag, for potential re-connection if a new gear is fashioned. Soldered calculator power wire to battery terminal, now functional. Performs math operations just fine and stays on/turns off as directed. Cleaned out battery corrosion as well as possible from the battery compartment. Super-glued major crack in plastic casing but unable to seal a second crack. Sewed & installed new fabric belt for rollers, which can be operated manually by pulling/pushing gently. Epoxy and superglue on plastic strut holding conveyor roller in place. Screws from broken, non-functional supports/connections have been removed and put in the parts bag. Plastic was wiped down with alcohol wipes to remove yellowing. Owner was advised of all repairs and changes. A scanner from another cash register toy could be used with this toy, but would need a new scanner mount on the side of the machine. Owner was advised conveyor mechanism is delicate and does not roll all the way through - original belt was likely plastic, the fabric has a seam that gets caught on a full roll-through.

No, couldn't find it
Do you have any suggestions for other repairers of this (or similar) product?
We accomplished this repair by taking the machine completely apart and putting it back together again. The wires are extremely fragile, possibly due to the age of the machine or possibly because they simply aren't very strong. A delicate, but very small wire stripper would be helpful. Spare wire and connectors could also be helpful as the wires inside are very short, difficult to work with.
