The antenna is broken. The batteries are low.

What did you do to repair it?
After changing the batteries, we noticed that the radio could be turned on. The antenna works also as a knob for tuning, so it was not really broken, but as all the radio is made of soft rubber, the antenna was simply disassembled from the radio body. After reassembling it, it just worked. However the yellow soft rubber is very beautiful but not a very long lasting material.

Always switch to FM to verify that the radio is working. The white noise of FM is stronger.
