Diagnosed open live between plug and power switch.
Cut down original cable until break was found. Fitted good, but short, length of cable to test and mower works fine. Recommended owner buy a new cable (link provided) and bring it to next repair cafe for us to fit.

Switch blocks on electric lawn mover, strimmers, chain saws, etc. are fiddle and should not be opened. Cut cable and solder new one instead! Use heatshrink for protection.
