Chair base mechanism is broken and chair tilts to one side.

What did you do to repair it?
Base mechanism was not a standard size and so was difficult to find in the correct size. Found a base from another old chair (kindly donated) that would fit and created a 'Frankenstein' chair made with the base from one chair and the seat from another.

Do you have any suggestions for other repairers of this (or similar) product?
Difficult to source the spare, but would have considered the Chair Refurbishment Kit from BIMI if it had been available in the correct size. Needed two volunteers to repair, as the seat needed to be bent to fit the base (that's normal!)
