Dyson was cutting out as airflow was limited by dust and debris in tubes and filters.

can recharge and seems to be running ok when first pressing handle to vacuum but then seems to stutter and cut out but starts again when handle pressed, is picking up but keeps stopping and starting

Dismantled and gave the Dyson V6 a thorough clean. Recommended client to wash out the filters for continued use!
