Tested motor - open circuit. Tried to find replacement circuit but too old. Contacted original manufacturer of motor (China) - they provided replacement coil - rebuilt the synchronous motor - all now working.

Listen when you switch it on - is the motor running? They are low speed - 5/6 rpm - should be on permanently
